5 Iced Coffee Recipes To Start Spring Off Right

Now that spring is finally here and the winter snowstorms are a thing of the past, it's time to get back to drinking iced coffee. Both delicious and refreshing, iced coffee is the perfect beverage to sip on while enjoying the milder weather. So skip the coffeehouse stop and try these easy recipes below that you can make at home.

1. The Best Iced Coffee
To start off, take a look at the basic iced coffee recipe from which all others are built from. It might seem simple, but it's full of rich flavor.

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup coffee grounds
  • 1 1/2 cups water, for brewing
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups cold water
  • Creamer, if desired.

Directions
1. Use a coffee maker such as the Mr. Coffee® Advanced Brew 8-Cup Programmable Coffee Maker to brew the coffee. The ratio of grounds to water in this recipe will produce a more concentrated cup. This is necessary because more water and ice will be added later on.
2. Pour the coffee into a pitcher, then stir in the sugar.
3. Then add the cold water, stirring as you do so.
4. At this point, you can add the creamer of your choice, if desired.
5. Pour the coffee over ice in a tall glass.
6. Serve and enjoy!
