Rated 1 out of 5 by Myron Rushetzky from I hate it I had a Krups 4-cup drip coffeemaker for almost 10 years before it started to leak. I loved it. But Krups no longer makes 4-cup drip coffeemakers. So I bought the Mr. Coffee DR4. I hate it. First, a Mr. Coffee "cup" is only 5 ounces, smaller than the Krups "cup." The DR4 is so poorly designed, I cannot believe it. The neck of the carafe is so much narrower than the body that you have to turn it completely upside down to pour all the water in, making it very awkward to use. And to pour all the hot coffee out, again you have the turn it completely upside down. I have burned my hand from the escaping steam. I hate this coffeemaker.

Rated 5 out of 5 by PTJR from Quick and Easy Morning Coffee This has been a mainstay every morning for at least 10 years. Works great and there's nothing like a fresh pot to start the day. The only problem with this maker is that the heating plate is rusting out because I don't bother to dry the carafe after washing or after spills.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Skip1950 from 5 Cup Coffee Maker continues to deliver The Mr. Coffee Maker, Model TF-8 was purchased by Walt Disney World and placed at one of their resorts. The filter basket was lost so the 5 cup unit was sent to the Property Control and I bought it for a $1.00 in 2013. I ordered a replacement basket and used it without the basket until it arrived. I was a Security officer at the Caribbean Beach Resort Kiosk and I like my coffee in the morning. A couple years later I moved to the Fort Wilderness Kiosk and it served me well until I transferred to the Polynesian Resort as their Rover and continued with good coffee until I retired June 30, 2016 finishing a 38.5 year career. That little TF-8 continues to serve my coffee nice and hot. I have a great big coffee mug that can hold nearly the whole pot and that is one feature I like about it. I don't know how old the TF-8 is but you made a great product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Shane615 from Love my little coffee maker... This 4-cup coffee maker is perfect for me. I have a small apartment so this is a nice space-saver. I also like the white color. I love the simplicity of this coffeemaker - and it's worked perfectly so far. (I've been using it for 5-6 weeks.) If you like simple, inexpensive, attractive and efficient, this seems like a great choice.

Rated 3 out of 5 by LesB from Earlier model was better made I loved my older four-cup Mr. Coffee, until it began to leak from the bottom. The new one is a cheaper plastic. I had to pry open the lid because its latch was so tight. The basket does not fit as snuggly; it's easy to misalign the basket's tab. The pot has a sharp angle at the top, which makes it difficult to pour out the last drops. There are sharp edges on the bottom of the pot handle. But, it does still make great coffee. I can still recommend it.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Claudster from Doesn't work! Inside the water reservoir, the plastic tube that sucks in the water and pours it out onto the coffee grounds is too short, and continues to come out of the hole at the bottom of the reservoir, causing the water to boil, but doesn't make coffee, unless, with effort, you are able to reinsert the tube into the hole at the bottom of the reservoir. Annoying, want to return it, but not worth the effort.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Marty 917 from Great Coffee - Very Fragile Carafe Purchased my DR4-RB four cup coffee maker last month (May 4, 2017). Coffee maker was shipped immediately & received within a few days. Used coffee maker every morning for just over a month when, to my amazement, the carafe cracked when I accidentally lightly bumped the bottom edge of the carafe on my granite kitchen counter as I was returning the carafe to the coffee maker. No glass splinters - just a large crack circling the bottom of the carafe. Glass carafe is very thin but I am very surprised it broke so easily! Coffee maker made great coffee but can not recommend it because carafe is so fragile. Now what? The coffee maker cost $21.44 incl shpg. Guess I should have purchased it at the time from WalMart for $15.99 and saved a few $ since it is not worth spending $13.94 incl shpg for a replacement carafe!
