Rated 4 out of 5 by lovely from lovely but not elegant I had mine for almost 2 years & it was great. ..it still works as good as ever, but the heat plate had stained & bubbled from an overheating accident my ex boyfriend had... note...boyfriend gone but coffeemaker still performing beautifully. Lol! My only wish is that they made a high end version with a more attractive finish than the inexpensive plastic. Just because you want a smaller model doesn't mean that you can't afford a higher end product... I'd pay a little more for a version that looked like it belongs on my kitchen counter. As is I am willing to buy the same product again & happily.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Dane from Disappointed I bought this coffee maker less than a year ago . This second I bought in past 2 years . They both only work for a year . The first one had power problem and the light actually spark and shot off . I had for about years even though I had a problem I decided to buy another because I like the way coffee taste. The second one just stop working no power .I'm really disappointed I just do know what to do . I really lost faith in your products and I wouldn't remmend this coffee marker to anyone . I thought I would try buying a 10 cup . I'm really afraid I would have the same outcome . Maybe I should try another company I can't see wasting my money for products that last less than a year .

Rated 5 out of 5 by joan2ndjoan from makes a good cup of coffee This machine makes a good cup of coffee, up to 4 cups, actually. I bought this several months ago, replacing one of another brand because I didn't think that other brand's brewer was making good coffee. While I wish the brewer was a little more compact, taking up less room on my counter, it isn't hugely big, I just don't have much counter space. It has an old-fashioned look. Adding water is easy. The coffee doesn't drip onto my counter when I pour it out, unlike my previous brewer. The first time I used it I forgot to turn it off but after several hours of heat on the pot didn't break. I'm surmising that this brewer heats the water slightly hotter than my previous one which is what makes the brewed coffee better.

Rated 5 out of 5 by JavaDude from My little buddy I bought the cheapest coffee maker I could find and it served me well for 5 years, making at least 2 pots per day, before the rotating plastic water arm thing fell apart. I used to just hold the entire coffee maker under water to clean and the lack of electronic brains means it doesn't really care. My parents have gone through about (5) of those $100 units in the same time! Will be buying another little buddy.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Dribbles from reliable I purchased this model about a year ago. I usually use it daily. The issue I have is when pouring coffey into the cup it always spills out onto the counter every time. Bad design of the "lip" on the carafe. If I pour real slow that seems to solve the issue. I don't race when I pour, and have never had this issue with any other coffee maker so I don't think its me. I'm planning on buying the other small maker with the shorter carafe, I know someone who has one with no spill issues.

Rated 5 out of 5 by taty from Favorite Coffee Maker I bought this in my first weeks of college, and I am a junior now and it still is working great! This coffee maker is super simple to use and to clean it out, every week I'll run just water through it a couple times and wipe it down. It is also great for just heating up water for ramen or tea, which I eat/drink a lot of.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Crochet Girl from Bring back the old shaped pot I have always had Mr. Coffee Makers the small 4 cup manual type. My last one the heat plate finally stopped working after years of service. I went to purchase a new one and the style had changed. I thought it looked "cute," but cute isn't functional. You can not get your hand into the pot to clean it and it drips when you pour the coffee. The other issue is how the pot pushes the top of the grounds holder and when you pull out the pot it drips all over the heat plate, this must be wiped before you can replace the glass pot. As I said, I like Mr. Coffee Makers, but this design needed a bit more R&D. Sad to say, if I had the money I would buy a different coffee pot. Bottom line, I believe this is just a bad design. Mr. Coffee Pots have always been great in the past.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Lindy from Small Mr. Coffee maker We now have 2 small Mr. Coffee makers. One white and one black. We each use our own. My only complaint is that the snap on tops to both carafes are very difficult to attach and remove. I am so afraid I will break the glass. If broken, it cost just as much to replace as it does to buy a new coffee maker!! If these two things can be improved upon, it is a very easy to use and efficient coffee maker. I would recommend this to a friend with a warning, as above.
