Rated 2 out of 5 by from Cheap temporary usage I bought this coffee maker back in August and it died already, got it for a temp while I was waiting for my replacement BVMC-SJX36GT to arrive, well I got the BVMC-SJX36GT , but figured I would use this one till xmas, then use the BVMC-SJX36GT. what is happening with this one is, you put 12 cups of water in the unit, and when coffee is al done you only get 9-10 cups, I have no Idea where the water is going? plus little black particles is ending up on my chlorine filter? have no Idea what that is? seems like it is steaming out he water, and I always use Poland spring water for my coffee, makes it taste real good!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from to complicated Bought a 12 cup coffee maker CG Series yesterday. It is not as easy to use as my 15 year old one. Why oh why do you have to change a good thing? I can not open the top to pour water in unless I move it out to the edge of the counter, it doesn't fit under my upper cabinets. There is not much room to pour the water in the top with all the stuff taking up the room. The old style was much simpler in design and you had the whole reservoit open to receive water. Why make so many unnecessary changes?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect Perfectly Simple Coffeemaker I've been using the CG Series 12-Cup Mr. Coffee for years. I must admit to trying other brands and styles in the past, however, it was only to find that they were over-priced and useless after 6 months or less! I love the simplicity of this pot. It makes coffee simply and fast...and that's exactly what I want in the morning!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Mades good coffee I've had this maker for some time and never had any trouble with it. I have started to take an interest in other options for coffee like frappes and cappuccinos. Eventually I hope to have an upgrade to a specialty maker. Right now I use this machine to make strong coffee to use as espresso to make my drinks. Very reliable coffee maker. Price is great too.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor Quality I bought the CG13 model and it worked fine for about 6 months brewing about 1 pot every other day then suddenly just quit working. We have one just like it in the office I work in and we only brewed 1 pot a day and it did the same thing - worked fine for about 5 months and just quit.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Mr. Coffee CG12 This is a replacement for the one I had for nearly 10 years, loved it. But with this new one, I can't fill to 12 cups without water splashing out those two little portal holes in back. What's the purpose of that? Is this an accident? My other MC didn't have those. Plus, it rocks on countertop and isn't level. Brought it back. Other than that, I love these machines.
