Rated 1 out of 5 by Hal S from Buyer Beware This is the second coffee maker of this model I have purchased. The first one brewed the coffee and the Pot sensor always thought it was the thermos pot and would always turn off the warmer right when finished brewing even though I had the glass pot. The second one worked great for 2 months and then the display would be full of moisture and unreadable, which made the programing for delay brewing impossible 3 week later it quit working all together. I have had several Mr Coffee makers through the years and never had the problems that I have had with this model. Stay away from this model.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Joanne1 from Extremely Disappointing I purchased this coffee maker about maybe 4 months ago. We may make a pot of coffee twice a week. I tried to make one yesterday and it just wouldn't blew. So I decide OK It shouldn't need cleaning but I will try it. Followed the directions with the vinegar; Well it didn't work; so I thought ok just for the heck of it i will try it again; and nothing. So disappointing. So I tried the other trouble shooting suggestions. NOTHING! No the timer isn't on either. I wish I would have read the reviews before I purchase I surely would not have purchased this model. I don't have my store receipt to return :-( afraid to replace with another Mr. Coffee Maker:-(

Rated 4 out of 5 by Trainman from Mr. Coffee Advanced Brew 5-Cup. There are some good points about this coffee maker, and some bad, but I'll start with the good. First, the coffee is nice and hot, and it's fast. It's easy to clean, and to operate. Now the bad points. It did not come with a permanent filter like some of the other brands. The display is very hard to see. Room has to be really bright and at the right angle. LCD display should have been back lit. Did not come with a measuring spoon like some of the other brands. Base of coffee maker only has two rubber feet in the back. Should of had four of them for better stability. Cord was really wrapped tight inside of coffee maker when unit was un-packed.

Rated 1 out of 5 by cassandraelaine from Another dissapointed customer!! My coffee maker did the same thing as others are describing... My last 3 coffee makers have been Mr Coffee. My first one lasted several months. My second one, which was a $25 maker at Walmart, lasted over 2 years... It finally kicked the bucket and wouldn't brew anymore so I got this one at Walmart. I bought it on November 27, 2015 and woke up this morning to make my coffee, what do ya know, it doesn't work! I am furious. I don't have the box so I cant just take it back but its literally brand new.... People, do not buy this coffee maker, it may look nice, but its a waste of money like several others have stated!!!!

Took it back and exchanged it for a another because I liked it. A woman approached me and said don't buy it they have already had three others come back earlier today. Thinking it was a fluke I ignored her warning and went about my business. Woke up this morning lights were on but no coffee again. This one lasted almost 3 months. I am extremely disappointed with this coffee maker. It is not dependable and would not recommend it to anyone.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Frequent coffee drinker from Poor Features The 2 hour automatic shut off is extremely inconvenient. There are multiple scenarios that would prove this. I will give a couple. I wake up at 4:00 am every morning and start a pot of coffee. My wife wakes at 6:30 am every morning and the coffee is room temp by the time she wakes up. Another example - my wife stays at home with our 3 children and likes to have coffee throughout the day. She is doing multiple things throughout the day and her number one priority is not checking to make sure the coffee pot hasn't shut off. Yes I admit this is a first world problem. Yes I know I can buy a different coffee maker. But reviews are for these types of things.

Lights are on but no sound and aroma of my morning fix. Had some left over in a thermos from the day before. Good thing I did not rinse it out yet. In my hast I threw it in the trash (bad move) Then I called customer service. Should have Called customer service first. A very polite customer service person said she needed some information of my coffee maker. Now I go out to pull it out of the trash, This is FL. trash cans can be very stinky. Gave her the info she needed. A new one will on the way. In my book that is how you keep customers

Rated 1 out of 5 by kkari from Gone through 2 in less than 2 years I have purchased this coffee maker twice in the past two years. The first one stopped working after about 10 months. It just stopped working. There was power to the unit but it wouldn't brew. I liked the overall functionality of the maker so I went out an purchased the exact same unit again. Unfortunately, the same thing happened after just over a year. Both models were the same and used daily. My Keurig, which is plugged into the same outlet has had no problems for 3 years and is used about 1-2 times per week for specialty coffees. Not sure what the problem is with the Mr. Coffee model, but I will probably buy a different brand for my daily use coffee maker.
