Rated 2 out of 5 by VinIndy from Not available here? Even though there were multiple reviews about the fragility of this pitcher, I bought the machine online last month, and do like it. As predicted, the pitcher cracked for no apparent reason yesterday, but I had purchased a second pitcher when I bought the machine, so I was not too upset. (Caveat emptor.) Logging on today, I now see replacement pitchers are not available directly from Mr. Coffee. Is this simply out of stock, or have they decided to no longer manufacture them? Really disappointing, unless there are plans to replace this pitcher with one that is far more sturdy but still fits the machine.

Rated 2 out of 5 by DocWilliams from Makes Great Tea I bought this product two weeks ago and enjoyed 5 pitchers of brewed tea however, the first time my wife placed the pitcher in the dishwasher it shattered. I have contacted customer service to see if it is covered by the warranty and placed an order for another anyway. Of note to Mr. Coffee, I greatly prefer glass to plastic products as I believe most people do but this pitcher is far too thin. I have seen the product reviews on countless websites, could you not have your engineers simply redesign it by adding a slight bit of thickness? The machine itself is terrific.

Rated 2 out of 5 by kj945 from Machine Great, Pitcher Horrible I bought this product in April 2014. I like how the machine works and how the pitcher fits into the machine. The down side is the pitcher is made of thin glass and breaks easy. My pitcher has already broke and I am debating on if I will buy a new pitcher or new machine. Than again maybe I will just start making sun tea again.

Rated 1 out of 5 by TeaDrinker from Half Star Rating I bought this iced tea maker last month. The pitcher was nice but thin glass and broke. A replacement pitcher is not available and I was informed the pitcher was discontinued six months ago by one of the supposed stores that I was directed to for a replacement. Don't waste your money on this product.

Rated 2 out of 5 by TeaLover17 from Elegant, but fragile This pitcher is attractive and I like that it has measurement lines for both water and ice (although they can be somewhat difficult to see, as they are white). My biggest complaint about this pitcher is how easily it breaks. I'm debating whether it's worth replacing it with another of the same, or if I should search for a plastic pitcher that fits the unit.

Rated 1 out of 5 by IcedTeaLover from Breaks Easily We have now owned 3 of these pitchers & they have all broken. Two in the dishwasher (even though it says that it's dishwasher safe) and once when it accidentally got knocked over. We're going to look for a new iced tea maker just because of the poor quality pitcher.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Lover of Iced Tea from The Glass is too thin. This is the 2nd set of pitchers I have purchased for my tea maker. I love the tea maker, but the pitchers are too thin. Just tapping them on something can shatter them. I would recommend the tea maker to anyone, its the pitcher thats inadequate. I'm glad they lowered the price! Makes it easier to repurchase so that I can use my tea maker.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Kilyena from Nice sleek design I bought a replacement pitcher when I purchased my tea maker a few months ago because other reviews said it broke easily. The only problem with it is the lid is really loose. You have to hold on it to when you pour because it wants to fall off. It's the same with the replacement pitcher. Knowing it's thin and easy to break I'm very careful with it. I hand wash it instead of putting it in the dishwasher. It's a little inconvenient but it's worth it. I'd buy it again but it would be nice to have a thicker pitcher with a lid that fits snug.
