Minerals (calcium/limestone) found in water will leave deposits in your coffeemaker and affect its performance. It's recommended that you regularly remove these deposits using vinegar.

Unfortunately, the coffee maker will not run properly without the water filtration disk as the plunger is attached to the bottom of the filtration disk which enables the water and coffee out through that. The following procedures should correct the issue of overflowing.&#10;&#10;1. Insert the filter basket correctly&#10;2. Be sure the carafe is centered directly under the filter basket&#10;3. Place the lid on the carafe&#10;4. There might be too many coffee grounds. Remove the filter from the filter basket. If using a paper filter, replace it with a new one. Restart the coffee brewing process with a proper amount of coffee grounds&#10;5. Use only coffee that is coarser ground for drip coffee makers&#10;&#10;If this does not solve the issue, please contact us directly via https://www.mrcoffee.com/support/contact-us, and we will be happy to assist you.&#10;&#10;Thank you, and have a good day!&#10;Mr.Coffee Consumer Care <div class="bvseo-author">Answered by: Mr Coffee Team</div> <div class="bvseo-pubdate">Date published: 2024-06-10</div> </div> </div> <div class="bvseo-question-answer" data-questionid="4493384"> <h2 class="bvseo-question"> how to stop over flow </h2> <div class="bvseo-question-detail"> </div> <div class="bvseo-author">Asked by: margaret melkonian</div> <div class="bvseo-answer" data-answerid="3274700"> Hello,&#10;&#10;Thank you for your inquiry.
