Care & Maintenance
Make sure your coffeemaker is unplugged and has cooled completely before cleaning. Remove the brew basket, filter carafe, carafe lid, and wash them in a solution of hot water and mild liquid soap, and dry thoroughly.
Minerals (calcium/limestone) found in water will leave deposits in your coffeemaker and affect its performance. It's recommended that you regularly remove these deposits using vinegar.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Stopped Working After 5 Months I bought this product on January 6th, 2021 to replace a Bunn coffee maker that I had for over 15 years. When I woke up today, as usual, I brewed a pot of coffee and all was well. I shut the coffee maker off went to church and came back 90 minutes later wanting to brew a fresh pot. Set everything up as usual but now the coffee maker will not brew coffee. It is getting power, the basket is and carafe are properly seated but the heating element is not heating up and no coffee is brewing. I cannot believe this product quit working after only 5 months of use.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Thermostat failure I’ve had this Model for less than a year and enjoy the thing, however it suddenly stopped working and would beep as if brewing complete, as soon as I started it, but nothing had happened. I watched a few YouTube videos on it and determined it was the thermostat on the coil inside. I guess these go out frequently and regularly and people instead of replacing the failed/broken part, they just buy a new coffee pot. So I purchased new thermostat but not the same specs as the one that comes with coffee pot. Can’t find the right one. Now I am out money to replace and a defective product. I plan on calling 1-800-672-6333 tomorrow,

Rated 1 out of 5 by from 3 months old and already had 2 issues. *DON'T BUY* 2 major issues in 3 months: 1. Poor basket design allows you to accidentally misalign it so the carafe doesn't engage the spring valve on the bottom of the basket. This leads to grounds overflowing into the water reservoir and clogging at the one way valve. 2. 3 months after we unboxed it the thermostat (KSD301-G 125v 16A) quit working and it no longer brews. Just beeps. Replacement of this one piece requires minor soldering but I don't own a solder gun. I could be more than halfway to just buying a new machine to fix this one.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Very Disappointec I bought this as a replacement for Hamilton Beach. Thought the Mr Coffee would be somewhat a step above. However, hardly a year later the clock keeps running fast, which in turn causes the timer to be off. Also, it doesn't keep the coffee hot, assuming it's the warming plate. If I am going to have to replace every year and the timer isn't going to work properly it would be economically better for me to buy a $12 cheap pot and replace yearly. I probably will not purchase another Mr Coffee brand again.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Mr. Coffee No More! I bought this 12/2019, turn it on and it beeps like it does when the coffee is ready but no brew. I am very dissatisfied with this coffee maker, 14 months and it quits! This has always been a good brand for me and I’ve recommended it, but I will not do this any more.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Worked OK for 2 years, then quit working Bought in Oct 2018 (actually was an exchange through Mr Coffe for one that malfunctioned) and quit working. When turning on to brew, the beeping for "brew complete" happens, but no brewing happens. Malfunction shouldn't happen with any two year old product of any kind. I have notified Mr Coffee customer service, so we'll see where it goes from here. It's out of the 1 yr warranty, though, so doubtful anything will happen. 2 star rating because worked well while it worked.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Stopped working after 15 months Bought this coffee maker December of 2020. Haven’t had any problems with it, but suddenly it stopped working. I had family over for Easter breakfast, and when attempting to make a pot of coffee it just beeped at me as though it was done brewing - but nothing was happening. The plate was not hot, the water would not go anywhere. I tried various fixes (changing outlets, letting it sit, cleaning mode) & it just kept beeping at me. Prior to “upgrading to this” I had a Hamilton Beach since COLLEGE, & I stupidly threw it away to get this machine. In the trash this goes, where it belongs!
