Hello Bonk! Thank you for your question! The lid on the stainless steel carafe is designed to stay in place for optimal heat retention, so it does not twist off. To clean it, you can rinse the carafe thoroughly with the lid on, or use a bottle brush to clean inside. Be careful not to apply too much pressure to avoid damaging it. If you have further questions, feel free to reach out! Have a great day! Mr. Coffee Consumer Care

Hello. We're sorry to hear about the issue with your coffee maker. If it's only brewing half pots, there could be a clog or buildup in the water reservoir or tubing. We recommend running a cleaning cycle to help clear any blockages. You can find detailed cleaning instructions in your product manual. If the problem persists, please reach out to us directly via our Mr. Coffee "Contact Us” https://www.mrcoffee.com/support/contact-us for further assistance. Hello Marty. We understand your concern regarding the stained carafe. The Mr. Coffee® Optimal Brew™ 10-Cup Programmable Coffee Maker with Thermal Carafe is designed specifically to work with the included thermal carafe for optimal performance and temperature retention. Replacing it with a glass carafe may affect the brewing process and is not recommended. If the stain is persistent, you may want to consider purchasing a replacement thermal carafe to maintain the best brewing experience. If you require further assistance, please feel free to let us know via our Mr. Coffee "Contact Us” https://www.mrcoffee.com/support/contact-us website and we will be happy to assist you. Hello. Thank you for reaching out to us. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused. This may be due to a few factors: Clogged Filter: If you are using a reusable filter, it might be clogged with coffee oils or grounds. Try cleaning it thoroughly. Coffee Grounds: If the coffee grounds are too fine or there are too many, it can lead to slower pouring. Ensure you’re using the right grind size and amount. Temperature: If the coffee has cooled too much, it might flow more slowly. Try brewing with hotter water. Carafe Design: The thermal carafe design can sometimes cause a slower pour, especially if the spout is small or if the lid is not opened fully. Air Blockage: Make sure the carafe's lid is vented properly to allow air to escape while pouring. If the issue persists , we kindly ask you to reach out to us directly so that we can assist you further. We’re available Mon.-Fri. 9am - 5pm Eastern Time. Thank you!
