After one month&rsquo;s use, a plastic piece broke off of the brew basket. Now, the coffee maker will not work. It seems to brew, but nothing comes out. It needs a new basket and I can&rsquo;t find a replacement. It should have lasted longer!

We had water overflowing and coffee grounds getting into the coffee. We switched to the Bunn coffee filters that &lsquo;tower above the rest&rsquo;, since Bunn is also rapid brew. The filters cover the whole basket. Problem solved! Perfect coffee for 3 months now

Also, try using a standard coffee grounds and avoid overfilling the coffee basket. Lastly, make sure not to remove the carafe from the warming plate for more than 30 seconds while brewing. Still flashing 12:00, can not set clock to start set up, pressed hour and minute button to set clock and just keep getting 12:00 flashing, no buttons do anything.

Plug the power cord into a standard electrical outlet. The clock will flash on the control panel to indicate that the time has not been set yet. 2. Press and hold the hour and minute buttons until you reach the current time. The AM or PM indicator will light at the left of the display. The clock is now set! Note: Pressing the Brew Now/Off or Clean buttons before setting the clock will cause the clock to start keeping time from 12:00 a.m. You must set the clock if you want to use the Delay Brew feature. SETTING THE CLOCK AND DELAY BREW TIME! To Set the Clock: 1. Plug the power cord into a standard electrical outlet. The clock will flash on the control panel to indicate that the time has not been set yet. To check the programmed time, push the SET DELAY button. The display will show the time you have programmed the coffee to brew. If you press the SET DELAY button again or wait a few seconds, the display will switch back. The warming plate makes our coffee too hot. This is a recent development. When we first bought the unit the coffee temperature was at a more moderate temperature. Is there a way to adjust it?

We regret to inform you that the Mr. Coffee&reg;12-Cup Programmable Coffeemaker doesn't have an adjustable warming plate. Please be advised that our automatic drip coffeemaker coffee temperature spec is 170-195 degrees Fahrenheit in the carafe right after brew. For warranty claims, take note that your coffee maker has a 1-year limited warranty. When I start brewing coffee, the coffee filter fills up with hot water and overflows past the paper filter, allowing the coffee grounds into the carafe. What can I do to address this? Also, the manual says something about a permanent nylon filter?
