Rated 1 out of 5 by Myron Rushetzky from I hate it I had a Krups 4-cup drip coffeemaker for almost 10 years before it started to leak. I loved it. But Krups no longer makes 4-cup drip coffeemakers. So I bought the Mr. Coffee DR4. I hate it. First, a Mr. Coffee "cup" is only 5 ounces, smaller than the Krups "cup." The DR4 is so poorly designed, I cannot believe it. The neck of the carafe is so much narrower than the body that you have to turn it completely upside down to pour all the water in, making it very awkward to use. And to pour all the hot coffee out, again you have the turn it completely upside down. I have burned my hand from the escaping steam. I hate this coffeemaker.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Skip1950 from 5 Cup Coffee Maker continues to deliver The Mr. Coffee Maker, Model TF-8 was purchased by Walt Disney World and placed at one of their resorts. The filter basket was lost so the 5 cup unit was sent to the Property Control and I bought it for a $1.00 in 2013. I ordered a replacement basket and used it without the basket until it arrived. I was a Security officer at the Caribbean Beach Resort Kiosk and I like my coffee in the morning. A couple years later I moved to the Fort Wilderness Kiosk and it served me well until I transferred to the Polynesian Resort as their Rover and continued with good coffee until I retired June 30, 2016 finishing a 38.5 year career. That little TF-8 continues to serve my coffee nice and hot. I have a great big coffee mug that can hold nearly the whole pot and that is one feature I like about it. I don't know how old the TF-8 is but you made a great product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by DLTAYLOR from AWESOME I RECIEVED THIS 6 YEARS AGO AND IT WAS ABOUT TWO YEARS OLD AND IT IS STILL WORKING!!! I am wanting to brag on my coffee maker. About six years ago I went to a clothing resale shop thing. I was a single mom and had a lot going on. You could get a certain number of clothing items and household items. I got a small 4 cup coffee pot. At the time I got it I didn't drink coffee hardly. I now drink it daily. The coffee pot was a mr. coffee pot and I thought it was so cute!!! We were told it was donated and was only a couple years old. We have had it for 6 years and it still works wonderful!!! I am so glad to find a product that is still so amazing!! I really dread the day that it quits!!!! I just wanted you to know what a wonderful product you have!!!

Rated 1 out of 5 by Edythe from Another different glass pot! As a 30 year Mr. Coffee user I was disappointed when my recent unit died. Of course, you changed the glass container so my old one will not fit this one. The new lousy design has a plastic point that when I put my hand to swish soapy water to clean it, the point caught and broke the skin on my hand. It has always been a lousy pour and after all these years, it has not been redesigned to improve this. So I will have to say when this one dies, Good Bye Mr. Coffee..it has been a love hate relationship!

Rated 1 out of 5 by LibraryMug from 4-cup coffeemaker ... are you kidding? I have used my old 4-cup Mr. Coffee for years and loved it. When my pot broke, I looked for a new one, and because it was reasonably priced, I decided to order a whole new coffeemaker. I was shocked at the size of the carafe ... and the insert says 1 cup equals 5 oz or a little less (because the grounds absorb some water)?! Since when is a cup of coffee less than 6 oz, which isn't very generous if you are accustomed to using mugs? (This carafe full of water doesn't even fill 2 mugs quite enough.) I wish I had read these other reviews before ordering! What a shame -- my old Mr. Coffee made Good coffee ... better than other brands. This coffeemaker is going back, and I will look harder for a universal replacement carafe or find another brand of coffeemaker that makes 4 real cups of coffee.

Rated 5 out of 5 by PTJR from Quick and Easy Morning Coffee This has been a mainstay every morning for at least 10 years. Works great and there's nothing like a fresh pot to start the day. The only problem with this maker is that the heating plate is rusting out because I don't bother to dry the carafe after washing or after spills.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Anonymous from 1.5 cup coffee maker I am extremely disappointed with this purchase. I filled the carafe with water (as full as possible). It was impossible to empty the carafe into the coffee maker, because the shape of the carafe always holds back a fer drops, even when completely inverted. I know that coffee maker manufactures still use 6 ounces as the size of a coffee cup even though it is impossible to find a coffee cup smaller than 12 oz. in the real world. However, given a 6 oz cup, a 4 cup coffee maker should brew at least 24 oz of coffee. With the water reservoir as full as possible, and no coffee grounds in the basket to absorb any of that water, this coffee maker produced less than 20 oz of hot water. That means that I will have to brew two pots if a friend comes over for coffee.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Janice01 from So convenient! Our future son-in-law bought the first 4-cup Mr. Coffee as a Christmas gift for our daughter, for our finished basement where her bedroom was. We have a sink and counter down there and she could make her coffee before work. She then married him so we kept the coffee maker as they moved onto a bigger one. My husband loves it, perfect size before work for him. The original burned out after 4 years of constant multiple daily use. Our second one just died, so we’re on our third! We love it and it gets more use than our Keurig!
