Mineral deposits built-up in the Espresso Maker will affect the operation of the appliance. Your Espresso Maker must be descaled when you begin to notice an increase in the time required to brew espresso, or when there is excessive steaming. Also, you may notice a build-up of white deposits on the surface of the brew head. The frequency of cleaning depends upon the hardness of the water used. Please reference the Instruction Booklet for detailed steps for descaling your Espresso Maker.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Such a disappointment and frustrating product I received this coffee maker as christmas gift first time i tried it i got “0” blinking light. Customer service offered a replacement however w/o the filter basket and single serve filter basket, which was irritating but i just let it go. I just received my replacement unit and i am getting the exact same “0” blinking light again!!! I’m so beyond irritated with this piece of junk machine. I will never again own a Mr.Coffee product. Quality is beyond lousy i wish i could leave this product no star at all.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from 2 months old stopped working Bought about two months ago loved how it worked in the beginning wonderful features to be able to brew espresso and coffee on the same machine. This morning when I went to make my coffee the machine would not brew kept giving me a zero error message even though the reservoir was completely full. Tried to clean cycle same situation tries to pull/pump water and then after about three seconds it stops working and flashes 0 again seems as though this is a common problem it would be nice if the fix was listed on the website!

At first try the machine did not work after following the instructions to clean it first before initial use. Contacted customer service and was advised to wait 10 minutes and the machine works great!! ( I see similar issues with reviews below... please do give up on this great multi use machine!)

Rated 1 out of 5 by from all occasion won't pump water Right out of the box, Won't load water into the machine. Says the water container is empty, but it's full. I paid a lot for this model 2092069 and now I can't get any help getting it to run.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Great machine after I fixed the flashing 0 error. I bought this machine at a wholesale auction, for very cheap. It was likely a store return for the 0 error. It was brand new, never had a pot ran through. After some digging I found a video on how to fix espresso machines that won't prime, straight from the factory. You need to take the bottom of the machine off, needing a triangle type screwdriver to do so. You'll see a small white pump with 2 hoses coming out. You need to cut the zip tie of the 2nd hose in on the pump, not the one going to the water reservoir. Get a turkey baster and force water into the pump through the hose. This will prime the pump. Reinstall everything, put the bottom cover back on. Run a couple clean cycles, until the pump catches prime. It will eventually catch and the machine will work great. I did all this because I got the coffee pot for 5 dollars. Had I paid retail for this machine there is no way I would've went through all this trouble. I was hoping to find a review to fix this specific machine, I did not, so I decided to write one. This is an awful design flaw on such an expensive machine. I love it, because I got it for so cheap, but others, would not. You need special tools and patience for working on things to make this happen. This flaw, I'm sure has lost Mr Coffee several loyal customers, but anyway, this is how you fix it if taking the machine back isn't an option.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from LOVE LOVE LOVE!!! I got this for my husband who drinks coffee ask the time. We switched from just an espresso machine to this and were more than pleased at the functionality of it as a whole. However, I accidentally threw away the reusable kcup pod and we used that daily! Now I can't find a replacement to save my life. All the ones at our local stores are the regular kcup pod size and the one that can't with it was like half the size. I would love some guidance on where and if it's even possible to get a replacement one.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great machine I bought this for a Christmas for my wife. She absolutely loves it. It makes great coffee and she and my daughter are enjoying testing the other brews. It is a little loud, but not loud enough to be an issue for us. The only problem we have is that it came with a carafe with a broken handle. The retailer is working on replacement. We would love to just buy one to have an extra, but can’t find it anywhere. Overall good machine and I would recommend.
