A few months after purchase it suddenly started leaking water randomly from the bottom first about once every 4 to 6 weeks, until a week ago when it started to slowly leaking water daily.&#10;Since it was still covered by the manufacturer&#39;s warranty, I called Mr Coffee hoping to be able to repair this malfunction. To my surprise, the agent I spoke with told me that they could not repair or replace this coffee maker since this model was discontinued, so the only option available was that Mr Coffee would return the value I paid for it.&#10;Then I question that on Mr. Coffee Maker&amp;rsquo;s website still sells this model in different retailers, he kept replying that this model was discontinued. I happened to go to the retailer and guess what, they are selling this model normally.&#10;Buyers should be warned that if they purchase this model, the WARRANTY WILL NOT WORK for them as this model is discontinued AND NOT AVAILABLE for warranty purposes, but at the same time it is available for sale purposes.&#10;I don&amp;rsquo;t trust Mr Coffee warranty practice. <div class="bvseo-author">Answered by: OAAB</div> <div class="bvseo-pubdate">Date published: 2024-04-28</div> </div> </div> <div class="bvseo-question-answer" data-questionid="4467316"> <h2 class="bvseo-question"> I can&amp;rsquo;t brew a full pot, it&amp;rsquo;s usually 2 cups at a time! We are sorry to hear that your coffee maker is not turning. That is certainly not the experience we want you to have. No worries, we are here to help. If your coffee maker is not turning on, it might be because the unit is not getting enough power from the wall outlet where it is currently plugged in or the wall outlet itself is nonworking. To remedy this issue, check if there is no physical damage on its cord and if there&#39;s none, try unplugging the coffee brewer and let it rest for 3-5 minutes. Plug the unit into a different wall outlet and see if it will work. Do not use it with any extension cords, power strips, power converters, or inverters as it may affect the coffee maker&#39;s performance.&#13;&#10;&#13;&#10;Your coffee maker has a 1-year limited warranty. Grind Size: Use a medium grind size for optimal extraction. Too fine a grind may result in over-extraction and bitterness, while too coarse a grind may lead to weak coffee.&#10;2. Coffee Quantity: Ensure you are using the recommended amount of coffee grounds for your desired strength. We generally recommend using 1 to 2 tablespoons of coffee per cup, depending on your taste preference.&#10;3. Water Temperature: Use fresh, cold water for brewing. The optimal brewing temperature for coffee is between 195&amp;deg;F and 205&amp;deg;F (90&amp;deg;C to 96&amp;deg;C). Make sure your machine is heating the water to within this range.&#10;4. Brew Time: Allow sufficient time for the water to pass through the grounds for proper extraction. If the brew time is too short, the coffee may be weak. Conversely, if the brew time is too long, it may lead to over-extraction and bitterness.&#10;If you have followed these steps and are still encountering issues, please ensure that the machine is clean and free of any residue or buildup, as this can affect the quality of your brew.&#10;We understand your frustration and want to ensure you enjoy a delicious cup of coffee with your Mr. Coffee machine.&#10;If you continue to experience difficulties, please don&#39;t hesitate to reach out to our customer support team for further assistance.
