My coffeemaker is a Pod plus 10 cup. If I make 4 cups it will brew about half a cup and shut off. It also makes a noise just as it turns off. This coffeemaker is only been in use for less than a week?

Not an answer but I think I have the same issue. I'm very frustrated with this device. many times I'm trying to brew 10 cups of coffee and it does 2 or 3 before it stops. When It works it uses the whole container of water, when it doesn't I have to restart 3-4 times before I get the whole pot of coffee. It's done this since new, it's about 6 months old now.
