Grind Size: Use a medium grind size for optimal extraction. Too fine a grind may result in over-extraction and bitterness, while too coarse a grind may lead to weak coffee.
2. Coffee Quantity: Ensure you are using the recommended amount of coffee grounds for your desired strength. We generally recommend using 1 to 2 tablespoons of coffee per cup, depending on your taste preference.
3. Water Temperature: Use fresh, cold water for brewing. The optimal brewing temperature for coffee is between 195°F and 205°F (90°C to 96°C). Make sure your machine is heating the water to within this range.
4. Brew Time: Allow sufficient time for the water to pass through the grounds for proper extraction. If the brew time is too short, the coffee may be weak. Conversely, if the brew time is too long, it may lead to over-extraction and bitterness.
If you have followed these steps and are still encountering issues, please ensure that the machine is clean and free of any residue or buildup, as this can affect the quality of your brew.
We understand your frustration and want to ensure you enjoy a delicious cup of coffee with your Mr. Coffee machine.
If you continue to experience difficulties, please don't hesitate to reach out to our customer support team for further assistance. Also note that you may lose 1/2 to 1 cup of coffee during the brewing process, as some of the water liquid stays in the coffee grounds and/or evaporates. To lessen too much evaporation, check if everything is properly locked in place, most especially the coffee maker lid.

Your coffee maker has a 1-year limited warranty.
