Great ValueSo far this has been a great machine for the price! It's fairly simple to use and makes a fantastic cup of coffee. The unit is compact and fits well on the counter and the stainless steel accent pieces go with my other kitchen appliances. My only issue is that I wish the for thing wand were longer as you can't froth milk in a mug, it's too short. I also wish it were more powerful as this doesn't seem to be strong enough and essentially just heats the milk. Clean up is simple. Overall, a decent maker for the price and I recommend it!
*I received this Espresso Machine as a sample to review, and am very happy I did because I love it!

Great espresso machineI was pleasantly surprised by the quality features, and end product consistency. I'd read of some issues but wanted to try it anyway and the maker did not disappoint. I can make any kind of "fancy coffee" or espresso beverage, and can also make a cup of basic coffee. I really like the frothing arm, and it's easy to clean! The only thing I'd appreciate is more specific instructions: the drip pan needs to be emptied every time the machine is used. Also it would be good on the "quick instructions" to add that the grounds need to go into the metal filters. Other than that, happy fancy coffee making!! This product was given to me to review.

Stopped working after 6 monthsI bought this machine online in Walmart.com on October 5th, 2015. Today, April 18, 2016 when I came home to make my afternoon coffee, the machine just didn't work. I tried another electrical outlet thinking the problem was that, didn't work either. I ended up brewing my coffee with a regular filter coffee maker I had sitting on my cupboard. Luckily I had purchased a replacement plan and Walmart is going to return me the money. I really liked the way the coffee brewed by this espresso machine. I always looked forward to have my morning and afternoon espresso, I just don't know why the machine stopped working.

double shot from
Good machine, but leaks still persist. This is our 5th or 6th machine is 4 yrs. They rarely go more than 10-12 months before they leak out of the housing. One leaked within 6 months. We are heavy coffee drinkers and pull 8 shots or more a day. Quality of shots is good for the price, but you'd think they could eventually fix the leak issues by now. With the warranty you get 2 machines for the price, but the hassle of warranty orders and returns get old. For the price it's ok compared to the coffee shop. Someday maybe we'll find a reliable machine for a little more $ and switch. If it didn"t always end up developing a leak issue we'd rate it 5 stars. Would I recommend to a friend- only on a buy at your own risk basis.

Not sure from
Well Done Mr. Coffee! This is great! I was not expecting a $1200+ espresso maker. And it is not a $1200+ espresso maker. But it sure does make good espresso for less than the cost of 25 double espressos at that *bucks place.

Difficult to use6 months ago I purchased the cafe latte & really liked how easy it was to use & make a latte. Sadly, it quit working. Mr Coffee was very good to honor their warranty, but they no longer make the cafe latte. I replaced it with this espresso maker. While it does make excellent espresso, I found it very difficult to use & clean. You must be very strong to lock it in place, & my hand held frother works better than this one. I am very appreciative of my warranty being so well taken care of, but I sure do wish you still made the cafe latte. This one is just taking up counter space because it is so much trouble!

Great Coffee, but always fails after 1.5-2 yearsWe bought our 1st one of these I think in 2007. We have since gone through 6-7 of them now. They only tend to last 1.5 - 2 years, each time. (just in time for the year warranty to be over) The price is affordable, and we are pretty addicted to our coffees we make with this several times a day. (love the taste) We have tried others when one breaks, and end up returning it to buy a new one of these again. After our 1st fail I learned very quickly to clean it well, and often. They defiantly leak like other reviewers, I had one that was so bad I had to sit it ontop of a cake pan. Mine have failed due to pump no longer pumping, crazy blinking lights (machine doesn't work at all, 2 of them did this), milk frother fail, and now this one as of today (pictures attach) Uggg, just bought a little over a year ago. The plastic screw that holds the spring and the circle thing in where you attach the brewer basket broke during coffee making. Once I removed the basket from the machine these parts were sitting in my coffee grinds. This same thing happened once before several months ago with this same machine. I was lucky enough to have my previous busted machine still in the garage and used the plastic screw off that one to fix. This time we are not so lucky and will be without coffee tomorrow :( Not looking foward to having to go buy ANOTHER one of these. Wish they lasted longer!!

Love this little guy!I bought this espresso machine over three years ago. It was an open box at Walmart so it was discounted. I read the reviews after buying it but hate taking anything back so I stuck it out. I have enjoyed it tremendously. It has never failed. It does not leak. The only problem I've ever had was when I was first learning to use it- ie: not pushing the brew or steam button before turning the knob produces flashing lights! The milk frother froths great and is long enough for a small frothing pitcher.
As it is aging, you can hear new sounds indicating that I will have to start thinking about replacing it. But until then let me say "what a great little machine!"
