DisappointedI bought my Mr. Coffee 12-cup programmable coffee maker, JWX23WM, August 26th of this year (2016) and it quit working 2 days ago. My husband plugged it up to make coffee before he went to work and all it did was beep like it does when the brewing cycle is finished. This is the first Mr. Coffee coffeemaker I have ever purchased, and it may be my last. I have always wanted a Mr. Coffee brand, and since this one was on sale, I jumped at the chance to buy it. I can say that I am very disappointed with this product only lasting 3 and a half months and I'm not sure that I will be replacing it with another, even though it does make an excellent cup of coffee.

Not what i expect from MrCoffeeI purchased this unit from walmart as a personal unit for home. My wife uses something else and i wanted my classic coffee experience. After 4 months im back using my wifes unit. My Mr coffee unit powers and lights up but it does not brew. It just sits there looking pretty. I expected it to give me at least a year of solid use as i depend on my joe to be ready when i awake for work at 4am. Im highly unsatisfied and shocked that the quality ive grown to expect from the brand is no longer there. I often wonder if the product thats distributed to walmart is of a lesser quality. Unfortunately ill have to go with another brand for now and maybe Mr coffee will be back on top someday.

SadThis is our third Mr Coffee in two years not bad but two of them are only 2 months apart. I thought we found a perfect product. I thought wrong. The 1st one we had for almost 18 months which is why I bought another when it stopped working but the 2nd one did not work long the cleaning light kept coming on did not matter if it was just cleaned it just kept coming on then one day it would not turn on at all it was only a couple of months old but i went ahead and bought another this one only lasted two brew cycles and it died. My husband turned it on and it short circuited out. VERY VERY DISAPPOINTED IN THE MR COFFEE PRODUCTS NOW

Terrible carafeI stopped buying Mr. Coffee coffeemakers years ago because of their glass carafes. They were like dribble cups! That was then. We recently purchased a new Mr. Coffee coffeemaker after noticing that the design of the carafe had been changed. The new design allows me to pour a cup of coffee without the dribbles, however there appears to be an inadequate / inferior seal between the glass and the black plastic top. Now after pouring a cup, coffee seeps out from under the plastic top and makes a mess. It ends up on the warming pad or counter when you set the pot down.
Good coffee but I will not purchase another Mr. Coffee EVER again.

Mr Coffee, 1 year wonderPurchased Mr Coffee Model #BVMC-KNX23 in December of 2016, by April 2017 the coffee maker crapped out. Contacted Mr Coffee about the defective coffee maker so they sent me a new coffee maker, Model #JWX27. Rather than do without coffee until this new Mr Coffee coffee maker arrived I purchased a different coffee maker so the Mr Coffee coffee maker Model #JWX27 sat in storage until January of 2018 when started using the new Mr Coffee coffee maker Model #JWX27. Here it is the end of October 2018 and this newer model quit working. Since I don't plan on purchasing a new coffee maker every year, I won't be purchasing another Mr Coffee coffee maker.

Disappointed,, nice , JUST DIED..NO COFFEE..Sad, I thought I had finally got an easy machine to use, clean and be safe.. Well cleaned it according to book at time of so many pots brewed,, everything fine,, then just out of the blue, no coffee,, would not turn on,, nothing was stopped up,, made a clicking sound but that was it.. tried several times,, so disappointed.. thought this simple programmable, turn off in 2 hours was the answer, especially after leaving on the old pot several times and forgetting to turn it off.. oh well.. not a happy camper,, had it less than a year, but no receipt,, no use,, they fade out anyway..

Great Customer ServiceI bought my coffee maker about 6 months ago and loved every cup right up until the day the machine quit working. I did a "live chat" with customer service rep Heather, and she was fantastic. Heather understood the problem and had me try a couple of things in order to be sure the machine had quit altogether. It had. SO, she took my name and address and some information from the coffee maker and said " you should receive your NEW coffee maker in about a week" I was stunned! So, the machine came yesterday!!! It's beautiful and working perfectly. The color red is deep and shiny. THE COFFEE IS DELICIOUS! Thanks again, Mr. Coffee and Heather for the great customer service.

Stopped Working (again!)When these work they're one of the best coffee makers around; they're easy to use and have some nice features.
With the "Mr Coffee" name, I expected a high-quality machine, which is why when the first one stopped working after 6 months I considered it a fluke and bought another one, this time getting the extended warranty (Wal-Mart.)
Well, this one stopped working, too, a little after 9 months. Lights on, clock works, sits there doing nothing. (Yes, it's got water and coffee in it, thank you.)
The extended warranty hasn't kicked in yet, so it's still under manufacturer warranty, which means I've got to cart it across town to a little repair shop (authorized repair) and go through that back-and-forth.
Reading the other reviews, this seems to be a common, recurring problem.
