This Halloweeny spin on a cookies and cream frappe is thick and creamy, with a deep mocha flavor that’s too good to pass up, chilly weather or not!
Ingredients:
2 tablespoons heavy cream
2 tablespoons whole milk
5 drops black food coloring
6 Oreo cookies, divided use
1 ½ tablespoons granulated sugar
1 tablespoon black cocoa powder
¼ teaspoon xanthum gum (optional, use for a thicker, creamier frappe)
Whipped cream and sprinkles, for garnish
Ground coffee
Ice
Instructions:
Add cream to blender jar of your Mr. Coffee Frappe coffee maker. Add enough milk to reach the ‘Milk’ line (about 2 tablespoons). Top with ice to reach the ‘Ice’ line. Transfer to the base of the Mr. Coffee Frappe coffee maker to add coffee.
Brew coffee over ice according to the machine instructions. Add 5 Oreos, sugar, cocoa powder, food coloring, and xanthum gum to the blender jar, then screw on the blender lid.
Blend then pour into a glass and top with whipped cream, sprinkles, and an Oreo cookie garnish.
