Browned Butter Pecan Breve

This browned butter pecan breve is the definition of warm and cozy, with the perfect hint of sweetness.

Ingredients

For the Browned Butter Pecan Syrup:

• 2 tablespoons salted butter, browned
• 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
• 1 teaspoon pecan flavoring
• ¼ cup half and half

For the Breve:

• 6 ounces half and half
• Two shots of espresso
• Browned butter pecan syrup

Instructions

1. Begin by browning your butter in a small saucepan over medium to high heat. Add your sugar and whisk. Add the half and half and whisk until sugar is fully dissolved. Remove from heat and add pecan flavoring. Mix and set aside.
2. To a medium sized mug, add your browned butter pecan syrup.
3. Follow the instructions on your Mr. Coffee OneTouch Coffeehouse+ Espresso Maker, to brew a double shot large latte.
4. Top with any of the following: homemade whipped cream, mug cookies, sprinkles, toasted pecans, or a sprinkling of cocoa powder.
