Rated 1 out of 5 by SammyA from Carafe would not fit machine Ordered the only 5 cup available online for my machine and when it arrived the lid would not slide under machine. I called the company and the lady searched my manufacturer ID on the bottom of the pot and told me they did not have anything else to offer me. After going through 10 minutes of automated prompts and 20 minutes on the line, there is no solution. I ended up throwing away my favorite programmable 5 cup coffee maker and the new carafe that I bought because Mr. Coffee company did not have a solution for my machine. My grandmother only bought me coffee makers and that is all I have purchased, until now. I’m still trying to decided what coffee maker will be next for me.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Scooter McGee from Lid "Dome" didn't fit My replacement carafe didn't fit my JWX3 Mr. Coffee because the "Dome" on top of the lid sticks up higher than the original. Luckily I still had the original lid, so I am able to use the new carafe bottom with the old original lid. You can see the side by side lids. The replacement lid is on the left, obviously significantly higher. So high, that the carafe simply won't fit!!! Only order this carafe if you have a Mr. Coffee that is designed to accomodate the higher "dome", OR if you still have the original lid with the smaller "dome" to use with the replacement carafe. The Product Description should mention this issue!!! Based on reading through prior "Reviews", a number of people have made this exact discovery before, and clearly documented the problem, and contacted Mr. Coffee/Jardin Solutions. Why doesn't the product description mention this issue???

Rated 3 out of 5 by Disappointed in CO from Carafe has changed design Unfortunately the carafe does not work with our Mr Cofee 5-cup programmable coffee maker.The carafe cover design does not allow the carafe to be put in place. The 'bubble' top (which is the 'pause 'n serve mechanism) is too high and the only way to get the carafe to fit is to raise the brew top, which is not practical. It appears I have an old model even though the carafe description says it fits JWX series. I still have the box for my coffeemaker and the model says JWX3GTF and tells me to get a carafe model ND7 if I needed a replacement. Guess I will have to buy a new coffeemaker. I will keep the carafe anyways because it does not pay for me to ship it back. It would cost me more than the carafe refund cost.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Jay2 from Know your JWX model before ordering! I have a JWX3 coffee maker and ordered this pot only paying attention that it was glass and for 5 cups. It looked the same however when the pots arrived it didn't fit because the round tip of the plastic lid was higher than the one I had. Gratefully I still had the old plastic lid and swapped it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by BC328 from Happy to find a glass carafe! The Mr. Coffee 5 Cup coffee maker came with a metal carafe that left an after-taste in the coffee after brewed. I looked everywhere to buy a glass one and finally found it online. So happy to have a glass carafe. A bit of a glitch is that it's slightly "taller" than the original carafe and a bit of a struggle to get it placed properly to trigger the drip feature. Still, better than a metal one!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Carole from Great replacement for the dribbling metal decanter My 5-cup Mr. Coffee came with a metal decanter. Every time I poured water into the coffee maker or coffee into a cup, water or coffee would dribble out of the poorly designed metal decanter and onto the kitchen counter. After many mornings of having this happen, I ordered a glass decanter from Mr. Coffee since I could not find one in local stores. No more dribbles.

Rated 1 out of 5 by MIKEMAN from No replacement carafes available. I bought this 2 weeks ago. I broke the carafe (totally my fault). The website wont let you buy one because they are out of stock. I went on live chat and they said check back in 4-6 weeks!!! no coffee for 4-6 weeks?!?! When I asked again the agent said "Try Amazon". Seriously?? Terrible. "F"

They wanted me to review my experience about 10 days after placing the order. had not received anything - no review at that time.
