So what year of production did the TM1.5 come out? I have one when I was a kid &amp; it still brews a perfect pitcher every time after 35+ years! Such an awesome &amp; reliable product, please don't stop making it. I've told people for years its the one to buy!

I just bought the iced tea maker TM1-BLK, and now I'm reading all these reviews that the replacement pitcher is discontinued and no longer available. Do you plan on making a new and improved replacement pitcher? If not I'm returning my unopened product.
