Make sure your coffeemaker is unplugged and has cooled completely before cleaning. Remove the brew basket, filter carafe, carafe lid, and wash them in a solution of hot water and mild liquid soap, and dry thoroughly.

Longer detachable power-supply cords or extension cords are available and may be used if care is exercised in their use. If a long detachable powersupply cord or extension cord is used:&#10;&#10;a. The marked electrical rating of the detachable power-supply cord or extension cord should be at least as great as the electrical rating of the appliance which is 900 watts;&#10;b. For a possible fix, please check the hose in the reservoir, make sure it is snug on connection. Also, check the filter basket for any drips down the back of the basket onto the trip arm and warming plate. Ensure to use medium grounds and make sure that the water is not exceeding the max line in the water reservoir. Lastly, please run a cleaning cycle into it if the machine hasn&#39;t been cleaned recently. &#10;&#10;Your Mr. Coffee&amp;reg; 14-Cup Programmable Coffee Maker has a year limited warranty.
