Rated 4 out of 5 by from Coffee is good, Carafe leaks not good) New machine, 10 cup programmable. After making a pot, often less than the full 10, the caffeine drip/leaks, seen on the exterior, where the plastic and stainless meet just under the handle. One drip every 5 seconds until whatever supply source dries up. I'm gonna guess it's from steam/pressure inside the carafe pushing moisture into the plastic/stainless joint inside which then drips out. It creates a good puddle under the carafe. Called 800# but closed. How can I get a warranty replacement carafe that doesn't leak (or is this a 'feature' :-).

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice addition to my kitchen. The Mr. coffee 10cup coffee maker has some nice features when space is limited. The water reservoir is on the aide and comes out to fill. The coffee basket also comes out from the side so no worries about low upper cabinets. The instructions were clear and easy to understand. The coffee brews easily and the stainless steel pot keeps the coffee hot for a fair amount of time. The top of the pot does come off. My only complaint is the opening isn't big enough to fit my hand in to clean, a brush does work but you won't be able to fit your hand into it to clean.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Coffee Made Easy The biggest surprise and take away was the permanent filter! No need for those paper filters anymore, and running to the store because you ran out. You'll still need the coffee though so don't forget that. As far as programming it for example a morning cup before work was quite easy to use, coffee came out quick and did not lack in taste at all which was great. Another great future my wife and I enjoyed was the detachable water reservoir and the instant stop feature as well. You can stop it to grab a quick cup, and then turn it back on to finish the brewing process! I highly recommend getting one for the house or makes a really great gift.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great features! I have used Mr. Coffee for years but this coffeemaker has several features that I really liked. The strong brew selector is really nice if you like a stronger cup of coffee and the water filtration makes you coffee taste so much better. The freshness timer is also handy so you can see how long ago your coffee was brewed so you never get an old cup of coffee. It is also nice to have a programable setting to wake up to your coffee ready to start your day. The automatic clean cycle lets you know when your whole system could use complete cleaning.(very easy to understand instructions on how to operate, clean and keep your coffeemaker in tip top working order)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Coffee Just Right As that I am almost done with my Spring and Summer cleaning I needed a new coffee maker as ours was very old So we got this one. We had one with the glass container, not a thermal one so this one is very different. The look is very modern and it matches our kitchen and our coffee station. I am loving that it has an auto Pause that allows you to enjoy a cup of coffee before brewing is done. My husband enjoys his cup of coffee strong and that is another feature that we like. One feature that took me by surprise was that the timer monitors how fresh the coffee is from the time it was brewed due that I always love a fresh cup of coffee so if I am doing something else and forget, I can see how long the coffee was brewed. This convenient, programmable coffee maker also has a Brew Later feature that lets you set the coffee maker ahead of time, and wake up to freshly brewed coffee. It is easy to clean and to add water.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from A step back My wife just bought me the new BVMC DT100 to replace an older similar model, pictured, but I'm returning it. The old one, despite it's age, is significantly better. The new one flexes and wobbles on the counter, and has a dent in the front next to the bottom of the carafe opening. The power cord is about 5 inches shorter and doesn't reach where we have the old one on the counter. The reason for the replacement was to try to get hotter coffee, but my thermometer showed both of these brew at an equal 190 F, not the advertised 205. There's no hinge on the top of the water reservoir and the plastic on the top of the unit is two different colors. Seems like a lot of destructive cost-cutting if these are intended to be comparable.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Sleek and beautiful I love this coffee pot. Here are the features I like about it. I like the design. I was so tired of fingerprints on my old coffee pot, and this one doesn't show any. I like the water container, and it is easy to clean out. It keeps the beverages hot for an extended period of time. It is easy to clean. I like the water filter on it, though I won't use this feature often because I use purified water. I like the fact that the filter is kept inside of the pot, so this reduces grounds getting stuck inside the machine. The things I like about this machine just keep going on and on....So far I have nothing negative to say. It makes a hot, perfect cup of coffee, but the whole pot is good.

My favorite thing about this coffee maker is that the carafe is stainless steel instead of glass. I'm so tired of breaking the glass carafes and having to re buy and I don't have to worry about it with this maker. It's perfect and I couldn't be happier!
