Rated 1 out of 5 by from Avoid "trendy" surfaces I am not happy with these pans at all. I moved to repalce my typical hard anodized pans to try these as there were positive reviews. My eggs stuck to the 8" pan on the first go. I pre-heated the pan as instructed but these are a no-go for me. To return, I have to ring or complete an online form that mnakes me detail the type of pans (to which these do not fit in a category) and provide the date of production (which does not fit into the space provided. Is it purposely tricky to return sub par items? I recently had an amazing experience and have owned Calphalon pans for the past 16 years.

This year I needed to replace them (this would be the 3rd set I have had) and decided to try the ceramic ones. They are horrible - I have only used both once and these stick, even though I cooked the same as the old ones.

And my wife kept them boxed up for Christmas because, you know, we needed something to gift one another. Anyways, I opened them with glee and joy Christmas morning, washing them up right away to fix breakfast. I really like how these cook evenly, and they look great. Great purchase and we're very happy with them.

The Calphalon Premier Ceramic 2pc Fry Pan Set (8" and 10") in Midnight Blue is not only stunning to look at, after using the pans the quick cleaning technology is unlike anything I have ever experienced. I like all my food well-done and crispy. Most people don’t get how I like my scrambled eggs crispy, but it’s how I love them. The pan not only cooked my eggs well done completely perfectly, there was absolutely no clean up!! It’s amazing!! Normally I am scrubbing and soaking the pan when I am done. Not anymore thanks to Calphalon!!!

I gave the pans a 4 instead of 5 because I feel I need to see the durability of the pans after using them a couple of months. The pans made eggcellent eggs, without the need for oil. The fried egg without oil seemed a bit tough so I do prefer using a bit of oil. Enjoy using the pans!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best nonstick pan I ever used! I have used several pans that claim to have been nonstick over the years, however the pans do tend to stick a little. My test for a pan is to fry an egg. I first added a little oil to the pan out of habit to prevent any sticking, and was surprised at how even the oil would slide around in the pan as shown in the first picture. I then fried an egg alone without any oil and did not stick at all. It fried my egg perfectly both times. Aside from being nonstick, it heats up quickly and is very sturdy. I am very impressed with the quality and will purchase other products from this line!

But this one has a kick to it because it's non sticky non Greasy and pretty strong material. This is a picture of an egg that I fried. But i've made pancakes, bacon and even fried a steak on the bigger pan. I really like this. I think i'm going to change my current pants... Is always a great thing

I have cooked several foods in these pans including sticky Rice Krispy treats and nothing sticks and they clean super easy. I'm a cook and these are the best pans. They heat evenly which is so important. I give Calphalon a 10 and I highly recommend.

The size selection is great, as I like to use smaller skillets for things like eggs while the larger one can handle dinner with ease.

The blue is very attractive and the craftsmanship is excellent; has a high-quality look. Love that the handles do not heat up and the non-stick surface is ceramic. This is great compared to some of the chemical alternatives out there, and proves durable over time. Excellent as far as ceramic pans go. The only improvement is that I would love to see lids in this peice range.

I can easily make eggs and do the whole fancy flip thing. They're lightweight enough that they aren't hurting my arm. When I am cooking which is great for me because I have bad joints. Uncle less lifts

If you let food cool in the pans it will stick a bit but washes off very easily. Haven't had them very long so not sure about long term durability but I only use plastic utensils, hand wash and store with an old rag between them to avoid scratches. Hopefully they are as non-toxic as they claim to b

It is easy to clean these pans and food does not get stuck onto the pans because of the non-stick surface. No need for hard scrubbing at all. The pans are very durable. The handle is also comfortable to hold and easy to grip. The design is timeless and has a nice midnight blue color. The pans have a solid durable construction with a heavy bottom. The pans heat up fast and cook everything evenly. They are easy to clean by hand or in the dishwasher. This is a great pan set that is very versatile and of great quality. I really recommend this set.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best of the best ever!! Great kitchen professional product!!! We had a set of the "classic" Calphalon frying pans for 10-15 years. We were happy with them and the pans never warped, but eventually the coating started looking rough with pretty frequent use. Now having ordered and used the "premium" set, we are even more satisfied. The coating and quality seems superb. They are absolutely non-stick. IF a new set is ever needed, no need to do an extensive research, but to get a new set. It is bit a budget breaker to invest every 10-12 years if needed. Worth of every penny. The shape of these is a tiny bit different than in the old set, but like this shape better. In the old one e.g. 4 hamburger patties were a little bit difficult to fit, but they fit fine now. (The size of the old big pan and the new are the same, 12 inch.) We have a regular electric stove and hand wash pans with a plastic brush. We do recommend these pans. Thank you Calphalon!
