Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect replacement for the original I had a Calphalon square griddle pan for over 10 years. I loved everything about it until the non-stick surface began to scratch off. I was delighted to find this replacement, which is a tiny bit larger and has an enhanced non-stick, scratch resistant surface. I was a little concerned that the handle might conduct heat because it isn't rubber coated like the old one. But it's just fine. It doesn't get hot at all. Thanks for an excellent product!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Did you say french toast? Love griddle pans. I chose the Premier over the hard anodized because of the metal utensil use. This pan will mostly be used for grilled cheese or pancakes etc. A metal spatula is the best for flipping. This pan is a must for cooking.

Have used the new one a few times so far, and am very impressed with its even heating (better than the one it replaced) and non-stick quality (not surprising for a new pan). I like the slightly textured (versus glass-smooth) surface for cooking pancakes, which is its main use.
