Obsessed!
Love this pot!!! I have used this so many times and it’s easy to clean, heats up quickly, and is gorgeous! It holds a lot, but doesn’t weigh too much like some other stainless steel pots. Love that it is 5 layer and durable. Would recommend!

Love this pan! It’s the perfect size, looks beautiful, the stainless steel is easy to clean. It’s thick on the bottom, so I know it’ll heat evenly and last forever. It’s surprisingly light to pick up, despite how sturdy it is.

Nontoxic essential
I’m truly loving my new stainless steel Calphalon stock pot!! It is so incredibly versatile and the peace of mind I get from cooking in something I know is completely nontoxic is something I wouldn’t trade for anything else. This has been my go to pot since I’ve received it. 10/10 recommend.

Beautiful Stock Pot!
The Calphalon 6 Quart Stock Pot is beautiful at first sight! A great size for making stews & soups in batches for this cold NY weather. It heat up well & was not wobbly on the stove. The pot does have a significant footprint but can easily stack other items inside for ease of storage! Lid fits perfect flush & can be left on the stove for display since it’s so pretty. Absolutely recommend!!

Great, sturdy stock pot that is the perfect size f
Calphalon makes quality products and this stock pot is no exception! I like to make soups and stews anytime, but especially in the cooler months. My first time using this pot was for a beef stew. I cook the beef in the stock pot first and then start adding other ingredients. The pot maintained even heat for browning the beef cubes as well as throughout the cooking of the stew. I am sure I will enjoy cooking with this pot. My only reason for not giving it 5 stars is because of the handles. I wish Calphalon would add silicon to their handles of their pots and pans. I have the same problem with my Calphalon regular pots and pans and have to remember to grab a pot holder or get burned. I am on the fence about a glass (ie. see through) lid. I did like the way the pot heats so I am not sure if that would change the way it heats having the metal lid. The glass lids just give me the ability to see what's going on without having to lift the lid.

Great pot for large families
It’s a solid and sturdy pot - the stainless steel looks stylish and sleek, although smudges can be quite visible. The size is excellent for large families; whether it’s soup, stew, ragu, mulled wine, or compote, everything cooks beautifully. The quality is impressive too - even heat distribution and a non-stick surface.
I like that it comes with a lid, though I’d personally prefer it to be transparent so I can see what’s happening inside. The handles get warm during cooking, but not too hot - I can still hold them with bare hands.

Healthy cooking
I was bummed to have missed out on the sets but glad I was able to snag this 6qt stock pot. It has a huge capaciry ideal dor curries and stir friy-really for anything! It has a nice mirror finish and was so easy to clean. A bit of oil while heating and its practically like a non stick.
I wanted to make the transition to stainless steel and glad I got to try this!

Omg this 6 qt Dutch oven is quickly becoming my favorite pot! I have made two soups in ur already and both times forgot to snap a photo. Nothing stuck to the bottom. Cooking temperature was nice and even. It’s the perfect size for a family meal.

Strength and elegance
Calphalon's Premier cookware 6 qt stock pot is masterfully crafted to be elegant, yet durable. With its aluminum heat-responsive core contained in 4 layers of stainless steel, cooking and cleanup become a simpler task. The pot reaches the correct temperature quickly and simmers like a champ. There are no unsightly stains, warping, or dents that magically appear while cooking like some other brands. I cannot get over how pretty this pot is after a dozen uses. That mirror-polish really shines. I have used it on my gas stove, stuck it in the oven, and cleaned it in the dishwasher. The only qualm that I have is that there are claims from Calphalon, stating the handles stay cool, but they do not. I have yet to find steel handles that stay cool, so I am not upset about it in the slightest. This is a great buy!

Good, but too small
This pan is amazing, but it is significantly smaller than I was expecting. I made a wonderful stock in it. But because of the size I had to make significantly less. This would be good for someone who lives alone/cooks for one.

This is absolutely one of the best pots I have ver owned. I love the shape and size of it. I also love how heavy and beautiful it looks in my kitchen. To clean it it’s a breeze and cooks eveeything evenly. So far, I have used it to make soup, pasta and fricase de pollo. I highly recommend it and will be buying more!

Performs like premium cookware minus a few quirks
After a few weeks of use I’ve got to say, I’m pretty impressed, though it’s not totally perfect.
First off, the build feels solid. I like how the pot has a thick bottom and feels sturdy, definitely not flimsy. (Same impression from others too: “thick bottom … feels very sturdy”) Heating seems to be even across the surface, which is awesome when I’m simmering soups or stews.
Cleanup is generally easy. Food doesn’t cling too badly, and I’ve been able to scrub it or toss in the dishwasher without major drama. That said, after the very first use I noticed some discoloration or marks on the bottom—nothing that ruins the pot, but enough that I raised an eyebrow.
One downside but not a deal breaker: the handles get pretty hot when cooking, so I always reach for a mitt. That’s a small trade-off I can live with, but worth noting.
Overall, I’m happy with it. It’s not cheap, but it gives a premium feel without going overboard. It’s already earned its place in my kitchen rotation, if I were you, I’d go for it and just keep those oven mitts nearby.

The Calphalon Premier Stainless Steel 6qt Stock Pot is everything I hoped for and more. It’s nice and heavy, with incredible quality you can feel the moment you pick it up. The even heating means my chili didn’t stick to the bottom—just rich, perfect flavor every time.
It’s the perfect size for chili, gumbo, mashed potatoes, or a big batch of spaghetti. Cleanup is a breeze, and it still looks brand new after multiple uses. I’m seriously in love with this pot and now wish I had the entire set.Do you hear that, Calphalon? 😉

A stunning 🤩 addition to the household!
Made my homemade marinara this Calphalon PREM SS6QT STOCK maintained even heat the hours I left on low most of the time. What’s even better is that this is nonstick, but it’s stainless steel. It’s amazing after I made the sauce. It was a great The cleanup was a breeze, and its dishwasher safe so easy to clean up! that means I get to spend more time with my family less time scrubbing dishes!

This pot is absolutely beautiful. The craftsmanship put into this is amazing. It works on gas ,electric, glass and induction. My new house had an induction stove installed. I am so thrilled to find this product for induction. It's oven safe up to 500 degrees. Goes from oven to table beautifully.

The stainless steel feels solid and well-made, and the 5-layer construction holds up without warping or denting. I love that the lid is also stainless steel. The design is very sleek and the pot is extremely versatile from sautéing, boiling or baking! This stock pot heats unbelievably quickly and evenly thanks to the aluminum core, which makes a big time difference when simmering soups or boiling pasta. It literally took mere minutes for water to boil! Food did not stick to the bottom and it washed beautifully in the dishwasher. The ergonomic handles stay cool on the stovetop, and it transfers seamlessly into the oven up to 500°F. It’s sturdy, reliable, and easy to use, which makes it absolutely my favorite piece of stock pot cookware.
