Great investment - gave as a gift
I gave this as a gift when my friend admired my 3 year old pan! She seems very happy with it. I think Calphalon is a cut above the pans from Target, etc. Very easy to care for and I always get good results. We use our sautee pan almost every day.

I have several Caphalon pans in this collection. None have disappointed.
They are oven safe to 450 degrees.
This 5qt sure pan is perfect for my cooking needs. I can do a big batch of pasta and have plenty of room in this pan. I use it daily.

Brand hierarchy poorly designed/defined
It’s not clear of the quality of product you are buying. The brand hierarchy is not well defined or differentiated. I’m sure the pan will do fine but the perception of material quality is subjective when purchasing off the web. The gauge thickness of this pan was thinner then the other product on my order. There are also gaps in the product offering that limits consumer product loyalty. Be better, not cheaper, Calphalon

Repeat Purchase
This is my second of the same pan. The first lasted for about 5 years and still looks good but we aren’t careful about using utensils that won’t scratch. I was very happy to find this replacement.

disappointed.
I received the pan and it was bowed on the bottom. The amount of surface that actually touches the stove is very small and when you heat the pan it gets even smaller.
I had my original pan for 14 years and never had an issue. I put in a ticket with customer service over 2 weeks ago and have not heard anything at all. Very frustrating and i expected better service.

This is the most durable and well made pan I have ever owned! I love how versatile it is for both stovetop and oven use. It heats very evenly which is a game changer. I have used this every other day since I got it. It’s also very easy to clean!

Heavy but great for stirfry
This pan is good for its value as it really is sturdy and nonstick. Unfortunately, it's way too heavy for me to use frequently, as I struggle to lift it to clean. It does make stirfrying a breeze, but since I am worried about how I'm going to wash it, I usually default to other pans

Careful with Heat Distribution
The bottom of the pan is a little thin so it cooks faster than we are used to. We fried chicken in it and it burned a little bit but it cooked through nicely. Will try with other dishes like pasta or soup to see how it goes.

Hands down the best place for cookware
Was so excited to try this tonight! This can cook such a large dinner and it was so convenient to throw it into the oven when needed. The handle on the end made it easy to take in and out of the oven. Super easy to clean which gives it bonus points!

Big size I love it
I was expecting it to be smaller but it’s pretty big. I like it. Even with the top it’s perfect to stop the oil from going everywhere. The non stick is great I can tell it will last. Heat distrubution is good and cleaning the pan is super easy. Just watch out to not scratch it.

My new favourite pan in the house
Just in love with my new nonstick sauce pan with cover. It is amazing, definitely one of the best nonstick pans I’ve ever used. I love that I can’t use the whole pan in the oven and it can go up as high at a Dutch over 450. It’s a very very large pan but I love that’s it’s not super heavy. The size is perfect when cooking for a large family. I love that it’s also deeper then most pans. Plus the dark color inside and outside is just beautiful. In love now I want the whole set.

I love the Caphalon brand. Their cookware is high quality. This 5 qt sauté is big enough for a stir fry for the family. I love that it’s not too big and can easily be stored. It’s non stick and dishwasher safe. Overall, a great household staple.
