Great pan that loses its way over time
Out of the box, the pan delivers. Heats evenly, nothing sticks, easy to clean. For the first month, it earned every star.
But with daily use, a brown film builds up on the nonstick surface that no amount of washing can remove. It's not burnt food (or is it?) Is it the coating itself degrading? Eventually the pan just feels wrong and you have to replace it way too soon.
Great performance while it lasts, but "good for 12 weeks" isn't what you're paying for.

Love it, but not like my old Calphalon
I really love my new 8"? Calphalon frying pan, but it seems very light weight. The old one, which I still have, and use, seems heavier. A bit worried that it could tip or be knocked over and the spilled hot oil or food would be dangerous. Clean up is great! Well made, just much lighter.

Do Not Buy this Pan
I would not buy this product. The heat from the pan transfer the handle to pick it up. You cannot pick up this pan without a heat mitt if you are using it to cook on this stove

This frying pan is rxactly as pictured on the Calphalon website. It is sturdy and has a goood teflon coating that makes the cooking surface ideal for cooking without a lot of additional butter or oil. I highly recommend it!

Not a heavy weight skillet
I was disappointed in this product. It's not a heavy skillet like I assume Calphalon always has been in my past purchases. It's not a bad product but it just isn't high quality like I was hoping

Cheaply made pan, awful customer service
I got this to replace a Calphalon frying pan with some wear to the nonstick coating. The new pan is so much lighter than my original pans and the handle has been cheapened. I was so disappointed that I wanted to return it. I began the process online but got a message that this pan was a final sale. I checked the Calphalon website and it is NOT listed as final sale. I could not reach a human being, only an AI bot in customer service. I also sent an email inquiry but git NO ANSWER. Customer Service is terrible!!!

Used to be good
I’ve loved Calphalon pans for years, but the quality has plummeted! I bought this to replace an 8” Select fry pan and the quality isn’t even close. I’m not sure how they are even allowed to call this pan nonstick. Also, it’s 8” at the widest point. The actual cooking surface is more like 6”. Sorry to say I’ve bought my last calphalon product. The cheapest stuff at the big box stores are better than this junk.

It's OK
This pan is just OK. I bought it with a larger one to replace old Caphalon pans. These are much lighter, and I had eggs stick to the pan after flipping them the first time I used it. I long for the days when we could shop at stores, not online - lesson learned.

Awesome non-stick
OMG! These pans are awesome!! I replaced my old ones because they were no longer non-stick. I’m an egg flipper are nothing sticks in these pans. My handles don’t get hot. I bought 4 pans so far! I put my money where my mouth is!! Enjoy 😊

This pan is so much lower quality especially in the heft and without a handle pad than what it replaced. Same with bigger pan replaced last year

terrible product
I purchased this product because my older one is great so I wanted a second one.This item is terrible. It feels cheap with very thin body construction. The handle gets very hot and; I almost burned my hand grabing the handle. The handle was not near any other heat source. It does not seem to very well balanced either. I returned it imediately. I will not be purchasing any more Calphalon products.
